Scope of work completed:

• 2no. Reception shafts of 5.5m diameter and depths of up to 10m installed in shale and clay ground conditions.
• 2no. Launch shafts of 5.5m (wide) x 6.7m (long) and depths of up to 10m installed in shale and clay ground conditions.
• Launch Shafts to facilitate the installation of the C300 Watermain and air valve/drain chambers.
• Installation of 78m of 1200mm casing pipe by Microtunnel under 16 Mile Creek.
• Installation of 60m of 1200mm casing pipe by Microtunnel under the live CP Rail tracks with just 4m of cover.
• On completion of the tunnelling works, the 400mm C300 WM with externally welded joints installed and grouted inside the tunnel casing.
